Ask a question

Beautiful lightweight soft terylene voile with a fantastic abstract print, created by Heals of London, the design is known as Equilibrium designed by Gabrielle Fountain in 1972. I think the fabric was hemmed perhaps to use as a single curtain, but this has been unpicked at some point, making this just a simple piece of fabric ready to create something new. I would describe the fabric as voile, as mentioned in design journals this fabric was created in cotton and terylene voile, the print of this fabric is smaller than the cotton version.

This fabric really is amazing and is perfect for use as a sheer curtain, as lining or to make clothing.
125cm wide x 130cm long
Great condition,
Created from top quality Terylene, which to be honest looks and acts very much like cotton, in softness and texture but doesn't crease as easily, and dries fast when washed.
