Ask a question

This poster was designed by the wonderful Bjorn Wiinblad and is titled "Julemaerket 1968" I always thought this was to advertise a Christmas market in Denmark, but it is actually to advertise a charity for disadvantaged Children, it is typical of Wiinblad's quirky imagination. The border of this print is also exceptionally beautiful, as is Wiinblad's use of colours, which is exceptionally bright in this piece.
The poster is in mint condition, produced in 1968. Created on heavyweight paper, lithography, the print has a matte finish to the surface, with highlighted areas in gold ink. The image is signed and dated by Wiinblad in print.

Measuring (100 x 62 cm), this is a large sized poster.

If you're looking for more Bjorn Wiinblad posters I have a large collection in my Etsy shop.
Wiinblad produced hundreds of designs and worked with ceramics, bronze, textiles, and of course his amazing posters, which he produced, for the Olympic games and the Royal Danish Ballet, and many other projects both in Denmark and America.
